The main man Martin, is the founder of Sweet Treats by Martin Frickel, with a background as a pastry chef & fine dining. During lockdown 2.0 he turned his focus to developing a next-level, postal sweet treat box for family, friends & followers on social media. It all started with weekly menu drops on Instagram & Facebook, once all the orders were in, it was time to bake, bake, bake away to send out sweet treats around the UK for a lockdown pick me up!
Since 2021, STBMF has come a long way. As well as the mega postal boxes drops we've been going out & about meeting our awesome sweet-toothed customers at regular artisan markets around Cumbria. We've have also expanded our offering by adding an array of regular postal boxes on the website, providing bespoke corporate gift boxes, selling celebration showstopper & stacks, offering monthly subscriptions boxes & always developing new flavours for our cabinet at the Cakeaway.
Our not-so-secret ingredient to producing the gooiest, mouthwatering, unique bakes on the market is using small producers and suppliers in Cumbria that I'm passionate about wherever we can - this ensures every brownie and blondie is the best it can be!!
Our flavours range from childhood, nostalgic combinations such as rhubarb & custard blondie to humble classics like salted caramel brownie - sweet treats have something for everyone!
